Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers who are resting easy in bed…

I am at a new bakery picking up a surprise for Judith ... Here is a thousand words of YUMMM:
Ok, the bakery is apparently new to me even though I've lived in the area almost two (2) years. Guy (of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) has been here and the bakery has a signed poster.
I love that show.
The bakery did not have Judith’s preferred Eclair so I picked her up another choice with pecans and a Texas-sized Cinnamon roll for myself. (Hey! I waited in a 25 minute line to make this happen. I want props...and if not props the sweet cinnamon roll is my goto.) I hope I chose correctly. (edit - It's one of the best car-sized cinnamon rolls I've ever had. The bread is light, the cinnamon is not overpowering but the icing is the bomb... All in all, it's a winner!)

I heard all of you… well, I read your emails and I promise another Bethany Anne short story in the nearish future. The new short story will take place during Queen Bitch (Book 02 of The Kurtherian Gambit) and for those who are following along the book is here:

BOLO - New Short Story starting this week.For those who are unfamiliar with the series Protected by the Damned... I have a treat. For those who are new to Protected by the Damned...I still have a treat.(The general idea of this redemption story series (total of 24 books) is Earth is under attack by denizens of a horrible place. One of the unwilling demons (Pandora) is stuffed into an unwilling participant (Katie) but they soon learn to trust each other and by the end, they are the main team that helps save Earth.)
BUT....Pandora is a bit of a 'anything goes' promiscuous high-level demon and if she is stuck on Earth, she wants to get it on. However, the female college-aged student she is stuck with isn't as carefree about love and more importantly carefree in having sex as Pandora is.
Pandora tries to get her host to change her ways, Katie tries to make Pandora a better person.If you are ok with more adult humor (no open door sex) then you will most likely enjoy PROTECTED BY THE DAMNED Book 01 - TORN ASUNDER. The coming short story will be during the first book.
